JOIN ELENA IN HER FIGHT AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

As a Platinum Sponsor of Dancing CEOs 2021 and a previous Dancing CEO in 2019 and 2016, I understand that funds for domestic violence prevention are needed now more than ever.

Even though I did not dance this year, I stepped up to continue my support for the frontline work of Women’s Legal Service Queensland (WLSQ). I encourage you to get involved as well. Below are ways that you can make a contribution or get involved, even now the event has passed.. All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.

In 2021, more than 30 members of the AIS Water team attended the record-breaking fundraising event and I was excited to pass on my Dancing Queen fundraising crown to a new record fundraiser.

Make a generous tax-deductible donation to WLSQ by clicking the button below. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible and EVERY dollar helps.

ABOUT WLSQ

Dancing CEOs supports Women’s Legal Service Queensland, who provide free legal and welfare help to Queensland women and their children at risk from domestic violence.

Despite providing over 30,000 services to Queensland women, currently 1 in 3 calls cannot be answered due to resource limitations. There is no way to know when these women will have the courage or the opportunity to call again.

By donating to Dancing CEOs you aren’t just supporting your favourite CEO – you are helping a woman and her children to safety.

DANCING CEOs 2019

In 2019 Elena Gosse broke out her dance shoes once again to participate in Dancing CEOs, run by Women’s Legal Service Queensland. As a returning Dancing CEO (and previous winner of the Community Awareness Champion Award), Elena knew she had to raise the stakes!

The 2019 Dancing CEOs event saw Elena crowned winner of the Allstar Judge’s Choice Champion Award for her dance routine, as well as breaking the Dancing CEOs fundraising record and taking out the 2019 Allstar Fundraising Champion Award. Elena raised over $80,000 for Women’s Legal Service Queensland, the highest individual total in the event’s history.

Having personally experienced the impacts of domestic and family violence as a child, Elena believes in supporting women and children in similar situations through events such as Dancing CEOs and continues to raise awareness and funds for victims of domestic violence.
